A little over a year ago in Gainesville, Florida, the Alachua County Hazardous Waste Collection division purchased a BioPro 190 Automated Biodiesel Processor to make Biodiesel with. They already were collecting oil from county residents who brought it in and decided making Biodiesel to supply fuel to their fleet made sense.
They quickly garnered quite a bit of great press from the local media and the program became a great hit with county residents!

From there they decided to expand the operation by purchasing a diesel generator that could be run on Biodiesel to power their facility. After quite a bit of research and a few calls to us, they found just the right generator, purchased it, hooked it up and started generating their own electricity!
Once up & running with the generator, they were invited to a local community event to feature their Biodiesel success story and bring along the generator to power another groups event.
So, they decided to dress up the generator…check it out!
Once wrapped, they set the generator up in a great prominent spot where it could be seen by all, fired it up, and the sweet smell of Biodiesel exhaust went wafting through the event bringing people to the booth to learn just how successful Biodiesel can truly be.
Talk about an incredible success story!
