ASTM Testing Methods
You can rest assured that Gorge Analytical will test your fuel the right way!
All analyses are performed in accordance with the standard test methods identified in the ASTM D6751 specification.
In addition, Gorge Analytical participates in the acclaimed ASTM inter-laboratory cross check program three times per year.
They are also a BQ-9000 Accredited Biodiesel Testing Lab which means they adhere to an incredibly
rigorous set of quality control standards to ensure your fuel is tested correctly every single time. Gorge Analytical also served as the West Coast Regional Troubleshooting Hotline
for the National Biodiesel Board for 4 years. In other words, Gorge Analytical REALLY knows Biodiesel testing!
State Of The Art Equipment
Gorge Analytical, LLC uses state of the art automated instrumentation, and quality systems to
ensure the most accurate and reliable data are generated. They then back that up with some of the most educated testing technicians

Gorge Analytical is also a BQ-9000 Accredited Biodiesel Test Facility,
which means you can rest assured your fuel will be tested and analyzed correctly every single time!
All Testing Done On Site
One big difference that we really like about Gorge Analytical is that all of the Biodiesel testing is done on site! (Yes. Even Cetane!!)
What that means to you is that turn around times are much shorter than other Biodiesel testing facilities and your fuel
gets tested by an actual Gorge Analytical highly trained technician. We think that's a really big deal and it's just another reason
we love working with Gorge Analytical day in and day out!
HOW THE TESTING WORKS
To have your fuel tested, simply pick from the test packages below that you would like to perform and purchase it.
You'll receive an email from us giving you the address to ship your Biodiesel to. We'll notify Gorge Analytical that
your fuel is coming and they'll watch for it to arrive. Once it arrives it will be tested and analyzed. The test results
will then be created and emailed directly to whoever you designate. It's that simple!
Fuel Shipping Suggestions
We recommend shipping your fuel with UPS or FedEx. To package the fuel, use a sealable plastic container (2 liter pop bottles
work GREAT!). Place the sealed container inside a plastic garbage bag and wrap it up. Then place it inside a second plastic garbage
bag. If possible, tie or tape the garbage bag shut. Place the fuel in a box with lots of absorbent material (newspaper
works great!). Include a copy of your receipt, seal the box up, and ship it to the address you received from us.
Turn Around Time
Once samples reach Gorge Analytical's facility, typical turn around time is roughly 2 business days however
the full ASTM test package takes 3 business days.
Once results are ready, they are emailed directly to you in PDF format.
Detailed Results
The results we send out are really nice and detailed. You'll see every test that was performed, how your sample did on the test,
and what the standard allows for. Anything that passes will show a PASS in green and failed tests will show in red.
