Over the time I've been involved in Biodiesel I've participated in several community biodiesel events including being

K-TALK (KTKK) AM 630 - Salt Lake City, UT
To celebrate Rudolph Diesel's birthday, K-TALK AM 630 Radio (KTKK) in Salt Lake City hosted a whole program devoted to Biodiesel.
Along with fellow biodiesel enthusiasts Jack Jones and Chip Dance, I participated in this great radio program. The program
was hosted by Barbara Jean Whiteley on her weekly show "Born on the 4th of July". The program was informal and included
times for guests to call in and ask questions.

KSL1160 AM News Radio - Salt Lake City, UT
KSL1160 is by far the most popular news radio station in Utah and one of the oldest. They have a powerful presence here and I was quite
honored when they asked me to participate in a special report that was put together about how people were beating high gas
prices. Distinguished reporter, Jon Dunn, got ahold of me
and included me in his two part segment on beating fuel prices. The show aired during their peak news time, early in the morning
with the morning drive. I had a lot of fun doing this interview!

KALL700 AM Radio - Salt Lake City, UT
Every Saturday from 10-11 AM, KALL 700 a.k.a. "Hot Ticket 700" AM Radio broadcasts a show called Car Time. Two professional auto mechanics host the show
and on October 16th, Jack Jones and I were invited to come and talk about biodiesel.
We were there at the invitation of Dal Soglio Oil, one of our local Commercial Biodiesel Retailers.
The show ran for an hour and included calls from the audience. The audio in the files below isn't all that great, but you can get an idea of how the show was.

On April 10th, 2006, myself, along with the Utah Biodiesel Cooperative, and Utah Clean Cities hosted another Biodiesel Forum for the public in Salt Lake City.
We had several great speakers there and were lucky enough to have KUER FM90, one of our local public radio stations, come and cover the event.
They took several sound bites, including one of me talking about biodiesel's popularity in Utah as I presented to the forum.

CBC News Radio - As It Happens, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
On June 14th, 2006, a radio show called
As It Happens, from Canadian-based
CBC Radio contacted me for an interview in regards to a
newspaper article
that I was the focus of on Oil Collection issues in Salt Lake County. The interview lasted about 7 minutes
and was a lot of fun. It's by far the furthest away place that's ever asked to interview me. The interview was then
aired over CBC Radio on all of their syndicated news stations and also put on Satellite Radio. CBC Radio is the equivalent
of National Public Radio in the United States.

The Salt Lake Tribune, Utah's largest newspaper, contacted me to be a part of an article they were
writing about how biodiesel homebrewers collecting oil in Salt Lake County are running into problems with
the local oil renderer's. The article was really well written and ended up on the front page of the Salt Lake Tribune
in their Sunday paper. I was totally blown away that it made the front page news. It was great to be a part of!
