Dry Wash With Eco₂Pure

Eco₂Pure is one of the newest dry wash methods for Biodiesel that requires special considerations for tower design. While the Eco₂Pure media has been shown do to extremely well when cleansing Biodiesel of it's impurities, it also requires special design considerations of the tower that it's used in.

Eco2Pure™ is a unique cellulose based, natural and sustainable composition of adsorbent technologies, specifically formulated for biodiesel purification from any feedstock. Eco2Pure™ can be used to compliment your existing purification system while allowing for a reduction in overall purification costs. The frequency of replacing the spent media will depend on the level of impurities in your biodiesel, the amount of biodiesel treated and the size of the purification column. Each kilogram of Eco2Pure™ is capable of purifying between 350-700 litres (92.5 to 185 gallons) of biodiesel, determined by the initial starting quality of the crude bio-diesel, base feed stocks, etc. Sold in 15kg (33lb) bags.

Eco₂Pure just works! Tests performed by Arbor Biofuels Company
have shown that with one pass of Biodiesel through Eco₂Pure in a dry wash tower, soap levels were reduced from 640 ppm (0.064%) down to 60 ppm (0.006%). That's over a 90% drop!
