Description:
This steel cone is sized to fit most 55 gallon metal drums and can be welded right onto a drum to create a great cone bottom tank!
It can be ordered with either a 1" or a 1.25" female NPT threaded fittings making it easy to attach plumbing to the
bottom of the cone or, order it without a fitting and weld in your own fitting.
Easily Attaches To 55 Gallon Steel Drums
The cone is fabricated from heavy duty 16 gauge 1020 steel. It can easily be welded onto 55 gallon steel drums
or trimmed to fit 30 or 15 gallon steel drums as well. This makes it possible to easily build your own processor,
wash tank, settling tank, drying tank, or any other tank that requires a cone on the bottom.
This cone with a 1.25" fitting is also the perfect compliment to building an MM63 Biodiesel Processor. Instead of having to fabricate one
yourself, our steel drum cones can be used instead making the process of building an MM63 Processor even quicker!
With a cone bottom processor, like our MM63 Biodiesel Processor, you can process Biodiesel, completely
settle out the glycerin completely, wash out the soap, and dry the fuel in a fraction of the time that a non-cone bottom tank might take.
 
Inside the cone is a fully draining bottom that can be ordered open or with a 1" or 1.25" NPT threaded fitting welded in place.
If ordered without a fitting, the opening is 1.50". This gives you great flexibility in building your processor
or wash tank to meet your unique needs.
