Identifying What It's Worth NADA Guides Get Trade In & Retail Valuations on any vehicle. The banks typically use NADA guides to establish how much they'll loan. Kelly Blue Book Another popular car valuation site to identify the value of a vehicle. Professional Help The following individuals are friends of mine that have offered to help you find a diesel vehicle in your area or find one somewhere in their dealer network, be it through a dealer auction or via their special dealer access to dealer only vehicles. They're alway's in great shape and his customers are alway's satisfied. He attends several dealer auctions on a regular basis and knows what to look for in an older diesel. When I last visited his lot he had 3 Mercedes Benz Diesels in his lot and a diesel suburban too. He see's many of them at the auctions and is willing to help you find that perfect diesel. He also can get several VW diesels as well. Terms: Negotiable. Typically fair market value for the vehicle. Comments: If your looking for an older model diesel, this is the guy to talk to. He know's quite a bit about the older diesels, actually drives an older diesel Mercedes Benz, and has an incredible knowledge of them. There are several "steals" to be found there by shopping often and watching for one to pop up. Also, join up with your local biodiesel group, as they'll usually know someone that either can find you one or someone that's interested in selling theirs.
