The ceramic coated stainless steel top plate provides excellent chemical resistance, especially against strong acids and bases.
For safety, the two LED lights on the front indicate when the heat and stirring are active.
The stirrer is powered by an electrically controlled ball bearing motor that delivers consistently smooth mixing action for
an ideal revolution pattern. It can stir the contents from 60 to 1500 RPM. The heater delivers even heat to the ceramic base
and allows for easy heating of liquids from ambient temperatures to 380 Deg. F (that's over 700 deg. F!).
The amount of heat applied can easily be controlled with the variable heat switch.
Also included is a handy standing rod that lab equipment can easily be attached to
(such as titration solution to be dripped into the mixture being stirred).
