When Biodiesel is made it produces glycerin as a by-product. The glycerin can then be used to make soap with.
The soap is made by purifying the glycerin and then using it as an ingredient in the soap making process.
A nice aromatic oil is then added to the soap to give it a pleasant smell. Soap made from glycerin is especially
effective at cleaning and has a noticeably smoother texture than 'store-bought' soap.
The glycerin for the soap we offer comes from Biodiesel produced at
Piedmont Biofuels.
The soap is made using only the finest ingredients.
There are no preservatives or artificial colors used and essential oils are used when
available.
We're thrilled to be able to be contributing to recycling even more of the oil that goes into making Biodiesel.
