Description:
Kill-Em is a product that works extremely well at killing any bacteria or fungi growth
in Biodiesel. The National Renewable Energy Lab recommends the use of a bacteria killing
product when storing Biodiesel for long periods of time or when using new tanks to
store Biodiesel in. When used properly Kill-Em will kill bacteria and other fungicides on
contact. It works extremely well!
The product is an EPA FIFRA registered product (EPA Reg No: 31910-2-55737) and can be used to
treat microbial growth in Biodiesel with even small quantities. It mixes soley in the water phase
of the fuel so doesn't act like an additive either.
Kill-Em is the most concentrated EPA registered biocide for fuels on the market.
In fact, just 1 mL will treat 4.65 gallons. 16 oz will treat 1920 gallons. The dosage can also be doubled up front if a bacteria
breakout is suspected. If you know you have highly contaminated fuel you can even do a triple dose.
A handy 10 mL syringe also comes with the bottle for measuring purposes. If you suspect you have microbial
growth or just want to stop it before it ever becomes a problem, we highly recommend using this product.
